I went down this morning and tried to crank the car and it worked! I didn't want to get the oil hot so that I could work under the car so I turned the key off but the car didn't turn off! I assume that this is the car managing itself since I released the pressure on the fuel lines when I checked them and the ECU reset due to the battery being completely dead. Well after about 5 minutes the car turned itself off so I got back in and turned it over only to have it not crank AGAIN! So I figured I might as well swap the batteries anyway so I did that and still nothing. I figure since I know its getting gas, air, and power and when it feels like it, it doesn't have a problem running that its some preventive sensor somewhere telling the car not to turn on. I know it has enough oil and water and with a brand new battery sitting in it I know it isn't voltage so what else can I check or what else could be preventing the car from cranking?
